The Turkish pianist, who trained in Ankara, Oberlin Conservatory and at the Hans Eisler Hochschule in Berlin, has gone on to enjoy an international career, including as the leading saxophonist’s regular recital partner. Their programme includes an arrangement of Britten’s solo oboe suite, a 1994 work by the individualist Graham Fitkin, and another by a British singer, songwriter and cellist whose works straddle different genres and styles.
