‘A sparky, shape-shifting ensemble of starry young musicians,’ as The Arts Desk has put it, the group led by pianist Tom Poster and violinist Elena Urioste has a commitment to chamber music and to widening its audience. Here it combines works by English and American composers, with a focus on works in the free tradition of the Phantasie (or Phantasy) by a fine teacher and his famous pupil.
