With one of the world’s leading collaborative pianists in attendance, the German-Romanian baritone, who has achieved a number of competition successes – notably First Prize and Audience Prize at the German National Music Competition in 2019 – presents a mixture of Lieder and English song. Though it contains one of the composer’s best-known songs – Silent Noon – Vaughan Williams’s cycle of six sonnets by Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1904) is rarely heard complete.
