- Leonore Piano Trio
In their recording of the operatic and flamboyant Mozart trio, the three instrumentalists ‘created a gorgeous sense of unity’, according to The Times. Dvořák's ‘Dumky’ makes for a ground-breaking work, and Mendelssohn’s songful second trio has a Midsummer Night’s Dream-like scherzo and a climactic Lutheran-style chorale finale.
The main proceeds of this concert will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support and Wigmore Hall's new programme engaging young people who are in the criminal justice system, led in partnership with Irene Taylor Trust and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
