Leslie Howard’s thought-provoking programme features two pairs of composers – Mozart and Tchaikovsky; Beethoven and Liszt – the second of each a deeply perceptive disciple of the first.

The final work of the recital will be the first known performance of a massive Liszt fantasy on Hungarian themes.
