Born in Brussels in 1986, Lorenzo Gatto gave his first recital at the age of twelve and rose to international prominence as second prize-winner at the 2009 Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition. His artistic pedigree has been informed by lessons with, among others, Hermann Krebbers and Augustin Dumay, and developed in recent years with appearances as a member of the Rising Stars young artists programme.
He makes his Wigmore Hall debut with delightful Swiss pianist Beatrice Berrut.
