A leading international authority in the training of classical voices and piano accompanists, Samling Institute for Young Artists presents its annual Showcase. Based around song cycles with a maritime theme, the programme includes Elgar’s Sea Pictures in the composer's version for piano, Rimsky-Korsakov’s rarely performed cycle U Morya (By the Sea) and Fauré’s L'horizon chimérique (The illusory horizon).
