The Swiss ensemble has received considerable praise from Alfred Brendel while critics, too, have hailed its qualities: ‘This young ensemble’s music-making is extraordinarily precise and tonally exceedingly well matched,’ wrote the Wiener Zeitung, while the Neue Zürcher Zeitung has noted the musicians’ ‘utmost expressivity and a subtle sense of form, tone and rhetoric.’
