A pupil of such luminaries as Imogen Cooper, Richard Goode and Sir András Schiff, the young British pianist was the nominee in the classical section of the Times Arts critics’ 2021 Breakthrough Award, given by Sky Arts and the South Bank Show, and subsequently profiled in the television programme itself. Of her playing Goode has said, ‘it is the purity and depth of her musical feeling that impress me most. She has the rare ability to communicate the essential meaning of whatever she plays.’
