Musical Portraits is a collaborative project led by Wigmore Hall, National Portrait Gallery and Turtle Key Arts for young people aged 10 – 14 with Autism Spectrum Conditions. Participants create their own works of art and music inspired by paintings at the National Portrait Gallery, culminating in a performance at St Martin-in-the-Fields alongside musicians from Ignite, Wigmore Hall Learning’s Associate Artists.

Musical Portraits encourages young people to develop their existing artistic and musical interests by providing meaningful opportunities to engage with art and music making, and to make social connections with other young people.

In partnership with the National Portrait Gallery and Turtle Key Arts
