The Scottish tenor and his pianist husband are both increasingly prominent in our musical life, with the former having recently performed major roles at the Royal Opera House and English National Opera, with more to come. With a title deriving from Robert Burns, their programme includes rare sets of songs by the Americans Charles Tomlinson Griffes (1884-1920) and Margaret Allison Bonds (1913-72).
