The critically-acclaimed Ruisi Quartet has established a reputation as a charismatic and expressive young ensemble, emerging as one of the leading British string quartets of its generation. It makes its recital debut at Wigmore Hall with a programme close to the heart of the group, combining its affinity for the string quartets of Haydn with seminal music from Bartók and the deeply passionate work of a youthful Mendelssohn.
