The Chicago-born tenor devotes his first half to Britten’s Hardy cycle and a work he premièred in 2016, settings of American poet James Merrill by his young compatriot Matthew Aucoin. The all-Schubert second half features a selection from the much loved Schwanengesang, written at the end of the composer’s life and published after his death.
