Trombonist Peter Moore is the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year Award, winning it at just 12 years old in 2008, and at 18 when appointed co-principal trombonist, was the youngest member of the London Symphony Orchestra in 2014. His programme includes several contemporary works including When You Appear, a work written for Peter by Roxanna Panufnik which is based on Pablo Neruda’s poem La Reina (“The Queen”).
