Piers Lane’s programme creates an evening of changing emotions, vibrant colours and expressive contrasts.

His recital moves from the meditative stillness of Scarlatti’s B minor Sonata to the white heat of Beethoven’s ‘Appassionata’ and dazzling brilliance of Rachmaninov’s ‘Chopin Variations’.
