The King’s Consort turns to a programme of Purcell’s delectable anthems for the Chapel Royal, including his deeply moving setting of lachrymose words from the Book of Jeremiah, Let mine eyes run down with tears.

A stellar line-up of singers and instrumentalists perform some of the composer’s finest sacred compositions.
