The French ensemble celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2021. Since its foundation it has gone from strength to strength, winning first prize for string quartet at the ARD International Music Competition in 2004, and two years later releasing its first recording – of three works by Haydn. Its second disc, comprising Ravel, Debussy and Fauré, won Chamber Record of the Year at the 2009 Gramophone Awards, and the group has subsequently gone on to increase further its substantial and diverse discography.
