The Kazakh-born pianist has risen to a position of prominence not only through competition successes – including first prizes at the Società Umanitaria International Music Competition in Milan in 2013 and at the 9th Campillos International Piano Competition in Malaga in 2015 – but also through performances at many leading venues worldwide, including Wigmore Hall. His programme consists of two works: Schumann’s moving recollection of childhood from an adult perspective, and Bach’s Sixth Partita, a suite of seven dance movements published in 1731.
