- SCO Winds
Young Beethoven’s soundworld included military bands and wind ensembles. His heroic Wind Sextet dates from 1796, a time of revolutionary wars in Europe, while the earlier Octet projects tremendous optimism.
SCO Winds also performs Poulenc’s sparkling Sonata, a product of the Jazz Age.
