In 2018, the Scottish guitarist became the first exponent of his instrument to receive the Royal Philharmonic Society Award for Young Artists. His programme concentrates on Georges Lentz’s Ingwe, the inspiration for which came to Lentz from a lone guitarist in a pub in the middle of the desert one night in 2004.
