With apparently boundless expressive intensity and tonal nuance, Sergei Babayan penetrates the heart of the works in his vast repertoire. The Armenian- American pianist performs Vladimir Ryabov’s fervent tribute to Soviet pianist Maria Yudina, mesmerising Rameau and Mozart’s delightful Andante, originally for barrel organ.
