Acclaimed by the Guardian as ‘one of the world’s outstanding violinists’, Renaud Capuçon appears in company with his regular chamber music partner and close friend, Nicholas Angelich, to pay homage to the concert given at Wigmore Hall in March 1934 by Adolf Busch and Rudolf Serkin.

In addition to performing masterworks by Mozart and Beethoven, they are set to reveal the exceptional qualities of Busoni’s Violin Sonata No. 2, which includes majestic variations on the melody of a Bach chorale.

  • Ferruccio Busoni (1866-1924)
