The following year she came to England, where she gave some successful concerts and continued her studies with Signor Panzani, who accompanied her in this Wigmore Hall debut.

Among the other artists in this evening concert were the Shakespearean stage actor Acton Bond, who gave performances of Stanley Hawley's musical recitation settings with accompaniment by the composer, and the Australian cellist Bessie Griffiths, one of three musical sisters who had all previously appeared in concert with Sievwright in their home country.
