  • Trio Mediæval

Founded in 1997, the Norwegian vocal trio's core repertoire features sacred monophonic and polyphonic medieval music from England, Italy and France. The trio explores works by selected contemporary composers too such as Gavin Bryars and Andrew Smith as well as the Korean Sungji Hong, these are mostly arranged by the group members themselves.

This programme, constructed around Passiontide, will include Ecce lignum crucis (an antiphon for Good Friday, Alleluia: Surrexit Dominus vere (an antiphon for Easter) (arr. Trio Mediaeval), Missa Lumen de Lumine Agnus Dei, and other sacred works for this Easter concert.
