Founded in 2013, the Denmark-based Trio Vitruvi – named after the Roman architect and philosopher Vitruvius – has garnered the highest praise in its international appearances. Here it explores a volatile student work by Shostakovich alongside Dvořák’s example alternating sombre and light-hearted sections.
