Wigmore Lates, firm fixtures in the Hall’s summer calendar, make the ideal start to the weekend. This season’s run opens with virtuoso Baroque sonatas from Arcangelo, and includes a trumpet double bill from Alison Balsom and Guy Barker, mesmeric original cabaret numbers from Miss Hope Springs, and a genre-crossing evening with classical mandolinist Avi Avital and jazz bassist and oud player Omer Avital.
