Major Gifts

Supporting Wigmore Hall’s 2019/20 Season

Make a Major Gift and be a driving force behind the Hall’s Artistic and Learning programmes.

We are very grateful to everyone who makes an enduring commitment to the Hall. The major gifts we receive enable us to nurture artistic innovation and make ground-breaking projects a reality.

Supporting Wigmore Hall with a gift of over £5,000 will allow you to be more fully involved and connected in a meaningful way with Wigmore Hall staff and artists alike. To thank our donors for their generosity and their commitment we offer a number of benefits designed to inform, and provide additional insight into how the Hall operates.

Season Benefactors

Season Benefactors (annual gifts of over £5,000 to the artistic programme)

It costs a minimum of £5,000 to present a single concert in our series and we are delighted to recognise individuals who make a general contribution of this amount to the artistic programme as our Season Benefactors. As major contributors to our season, we are glad to offer our Benefactors:

  • An early Priority Booking deadline
  • Personal assistance with ticket bookings and returns
  • Invitation to the Director’s Private Season Launch in January 2020 and other special events throughout the year
  • An end of season report to demonstrate the impact of your giving
  • Named credit in all Wigmore series programmes and donor listings

Season Patrons

Season Patrons (annual gifts of over £10,000 to the artistic programme)

Our Season Patrons’ exceptional commitment to our concert series has a significant impact on our planning and ability to present the world’s leading artists each and every season. Our Season Patrons enjoy a special relationship with the Hall; we are in touch with them regularly, highlighting concerts and events which may be of interest, as well as giving them personal assistance with ticket bookings and returns. Other additional benefits include:

  • An early Priority Booking deadline
  • An annual meeting with the Director
  • An end of season report to demonstrate the impact of your giving
  • Invitation to the Director’s Private Season Preview in January 2020 and other special events throughout the year
  • Named credit in all Wigmore series programmes and donor listings

Director's Circle

Director's Circle (annual gifts of over £20,000 to Wigmore Hall's programmes)

Engaging with the Director throughout the year, donors at this level are able to gain a direct insight into how the Hall works. Aside from personal assistance through the Development Office with ticket bookings, and opportunities to meet artists, they are able to find out more about future plans from the Director before these are made public. The projects supported by the Director’s Circle might relate specifically to the Hall’s infrastructure, an artistic project or a Learning initiative: this is an opportunity to make transformational gifts to secure the Hall’s long-term future.
