Having performed in public from the age of five and risen through the following quarter-century to a place among the giants of the music world, Maxim Vengerov took a sabbatical from the violin in favour of conducting, teaching and humanitarian projects. When he returned to playing, at a concert in Brussels in 2011, he was met with overwhelming critical acclaim.

In this concert, he brings together some of the greatest cornerstones of the repertoire in what promises to be a landmark in the London concert season.
