Overview
Wigmore Hall’s ambitious Mozart Odyssey continues to unfold with an irresistible collection of the composer’s chamber works performed by an ideal gathering of Mozarteans.
Their programme opens with one of the two Duos Mozart wrote to help his esteemed Salzburg colleague Michael Haydn honour a commission deadline, and includes the tragic and tender-hearted G minor String Quintet, a cornerstone work of the chamber music repertoire.
