Overview
Kristian Bezuidenhout continues his survey of Mozart’s works for solo keyboard, opening with a sonata dating from the composer’s early years in Vienna.
The critic Arthur Hutchings wisely described the F major Piano Sonata’s Adagio as ‘the summit of expression Mozart reached without departing from the formality and reticence of his epoch’.
