Overview
Alina Ibragimova and Cédric Tiberghien began their complete survey of Mozart’s violin sonatas last September as part of Wigmore Hall’s Mozart Odyssey.
In this recital they journey through six works, including two pieces written during the composer’s prodigious childhood and his final essay in the genre, the delightful Violin Sonata in F K547, described by Mozart as ‘a small piano sonata for beginners, with violin’.
This concert is part of the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust ticket scheme, offering free tickets to those aged 8-25
