Barry Douglas returns to Wigmore Hall for his second recital of the season. The celebrated Irish pianist’s ongoing immersion in the works of Brahms and Schubert is reflected in a programme crowned by the latter’s Piano Sonata in A D959, written shortly before the composer’s death in 1828.
