    Overview

With HK ‘Nali’ Gruber taking hiscustomary role as chansonnier, thisconcert tribute to the work of FriedrichCerha celebrates the creative energy, diverse historical allusions and originalityof contemporary Austrian music.

Keintate, first performed in 1983, recalls Cerha’searly days playing second fiddle inViennese folk bands, supplied by a streamof popular tunes and intensified by thehyper-real dialect verse of Ernst Kein.
