The Carducci String Quartet will perform severalcomplete cycles of Shostakovich’s string quartetsin 2015, bringing experiences and discoveriesgained during the journey to its interpretation ofthe Russian composer’s Third Quartet at WigmoreHall.
The ensemble presents his deeply movingwork in company with Beethoven’s evergreenString Quartet in C minor, a piece of great charmand confidence.
