Alina Ibragimova and Cédric Tiberghien return toMozart’s complete violin sonatas as part of WigmoreHall’s Mozart Odyssey.
Their programme includestwo of the so-called Auernhammer Sonatas, K377and K378, published in Vienna in 1781 anddedicated to an exceptionally gifted amateur violinist,and the delightful variations on the popular Frencharia ‘Hélas, j’ai perdu mon amant’.
