András Keller, founder ofthe Keller Quartet, began playing violinat the age of seven and subsequentlystudied with, among others, Sándor Véghand György Kurtág.
He won the prestigiousHubay Violin Competition in 1983 andhas since pursued a distinguished careeras orchestral leader, soloist and chambermusician. Keller comes to Wigmore Hallto pass on his knowledge and experienceto selected string quartets from UKmusic colleges.
