Trained at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Konstantin Scherbakov was a disciple and assistant of the legendary Prof. Lev Naumov. His career was launched after winning the Rachmaninov Competition in Moscow (1983) and successes in international competitions include the Géza Anda, Busoni, Montreal and Rome.

He has recorded about 40 CDs featuring over 300 titles on the Naxos, Marco Polo, Two Pianists Records and EMI Classics labels, many of which have been awarded prestigious prizes, such as the Cannes Classical Award and German Critic’s Award.
