    Four of today’s exceptional chamber musicians joinforces to perform two of the greatest of all stringquartet works, commemorating the concert given atWigmore Hall in March 1933 by the Busch Quartet.

    Beethoven’s late String Quartet in C sharp minor waswritten following his nephew’s failed suicide attempt,its seven movements reflecting on the miracle of lifeand its fleeting impermanence.
