Overview

Two outstanding British artists launch their recitalwith works created in the early years of thenineteenth century, contrasting the darkly dramaticatmosphere of Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 4 withthe optimistic spirit of his serene ‘Spring’ Sonata.

Tasmin Little and Martin Roscoe conclude with the‘Kreutzer’ Sonata, aptly described by Donald Toveyas ‘one of the landmarks of musical history’.
