    Overview

Mozart wrote his Divertimento in E flat K563 for his friend the Viennese merchantMichael Puchberg. This superb work, the first ever trio for violin, viola and cello, was probably written for performance to a small private audience.

Principal playersof Aurora Orchestra offer Mozart’s score in company with Sibelius’s early String Trioin G minor, serious and intense in mood.
