      Overview

      Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT):Identifying, nurturing, promoting andsupporting exceptional young artists.

      YCAT artists are identified through a rigorousannual audition process. In this third andfinal round, outstanding young soloistsand ensembles, selected from over 100applicants in the preliminary and semi-finalrounds, audition before a distinguishedpanel of judges. At a critical time in theirdevelopment YCAT offers guidance andadvice alongside a full artist managementservice to selected artists for 3–5 years.

      Previous artists include Ian Bostridge, SusanGritton, Elizabeth Watts, Alison Balsom,Joanna MacGregor, Llŷr Williams and theBelcea, Heath and Doric string quartets.
