Overview
Mozart’s Don Giovanni includes music for the latesttrend in aristocratic entertainment. The so-calledHarmonie, a wind band comprising horns, bassoonsand one or more pairs of treble instruments, becamehugely popular and prompted Josef Triebensee toarrange hits from Don Giovanni.
Principal players ofAurora Orchestra also present two of Mozart’s windserenades, including his ‘Night Music’ in C minor K388.
