Overview

Hungarian-born pianist Daniel Lebhardt studied at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest with István Gulyás and Gyöngyi Keveházi and, since 2010, at the Royal Academy of Music with Christopher Elton and Pascal Nemirovski. Engagements this season have included recitals at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Merkin Concert Hall in New York, the Usedomer Festival in Finland and the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

‘He brought narrative sweep and youthful abandon to the piece, along with power, poetry and formidable technique.’ – Anthony Tomassini, The New York Times, March 2016
