Overview
A long-term Wigmore favourite,the leading Czech quartetperforms two works central to therepertoire: the first of Beethoven’sthree ‘Razumovsky’ quartets(1806), commissioned by theeponymous Russian ambassadorto Vienna, and Schubert’s 1824masterpiece founded on one of hismost powerful songs.
