Robert Schumann’s highly personalart again provides the theme, withthe Elias musicians focusing on hisstring quartets. At different periods,the composer concentratedon different genres: 1842 wasthe year he threw himself atchamber music, producing withintwelve months all three of hisstring quartets and several otherindividual masterpieces.
