Overview

Based on the plot of Cosi fan tutte(and containing numerous Mozartianechoes), Graham Johnson hasdevised a programme of Lieder,English songs and duets. Theinteractions between the Neapolitansisters, and the manipulative DonAlfonso, progress along Da Ponte'slines: Sisters in love - 'Bella vitamilitar' - Constancy - Weakening- Capitulation and Abandon -Reconciliation.
