    The Wihan Quartet is anexceptional Czech ensemble,named after a famous exponentof the music of Dvořák. In thisprogramme, it performs one ofDvořák’s most personal earlyworks alongside an equally movingpiece (1914) by his pupil andson-in-law, Suk, whose theme haslong held special resonance for theCzech people.
