    Overview

    Since its foundation in Berlin in1991, the ensemble has gained areputation for originality, helpingto widen audiences for chambermusic as well as expanding theexisting quartet repertoire. Itoffers two major works, one ofMozart’s set dedicated to Haydn(1785) and Brahms’ first publishedwork for the medium (1873).
