Overview

Although Schubert died at only 31 years old, he had already composed around 600 Lieder, leaving behind a vast legacy of song. Irish tenor Robin Tritschler’s programme explores settings of texts by Schulze, Schiller, Mayrhofer, Matthisson and Goethe, and he is joined by Schubertian and master accompanist Graham Johnson.
