Overview

The Hermes Experiment is a contemporary quartet made up of harp, clarinet, voice and double bass, which regularly commissions works (many of which can be heard in this evening’s programme) as well as capitalising on their own arranging skills for existing music. Tonight’s programme includes Kerry Andrew’s five sultry, quirky songs about fruit and Jeremy Thurlow’s ‘delicate, translucent’ Quiet Songs.
